IT Infrastructure and Operations Lead

THE OPPORTUNITY

The role reports to the Country Head of IT.

 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Country Head of IT in the creation and delivery of the IT Strategy
• Lead the IT Infrastructure, Operations and Network Team to Integrate new technology and ensure optimum system performance
• Provide support, installation and configuration for all virtual services and physical services in all the Country Data Centers
• Design, plan, build and support automation infrastructure to fully cover all business operational sites including system architecture for all business tools and collaboration software
• Provide proactive and continuous improvement, technical upgrades, and support of servers, storage, and backup environments.
• Assist with technology related purchases and maintenance of company’s IT assets
• Determine and implement proper monitoring points and tuning alerts to be able to monitor the data center environments proactively.
• Create and maintain systems administration documentation outlining administration policies and practices
• Coordinate and manage all IT infrastructure disaster recovery plans in liaison with the End User & Information Security teams
• Manage service level agreements (SLA) with internal customers and external vendors

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

•  Graduate in Information Technology or relevant discipline with at least 10 years’ experience dealing with complex technical IT environments, policy and effective service delivery to end users in multiple Business segments.
•  Sound knowledge on Windows Server, Linux, VMWare, Oracle RDBMS, Infrastructure monitoring tools including backup, provisioning and automation
•  Knowledge of Data Centre shared infrastructure (AWS, Servers, SAN, Network optimization, Security Standards , Security equipment and associated technologies
•  Broad range of understanding of ITIL, ITSM, Agile and industry best practices
•  Basic knowledge of SAP Basis
•  Basic Programming skills
•  Certification on Project Management methodology and Strong skills in self-organization

• Country Head of IT.
