Field Youth Officer (Wote)– B2F Level

Reports to: Youth Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilization and Outreach: Collaborate with stakeholders to mobilize and select youth within target areas in alignment with existing clusters.
- Selection Process Management: Organize and oversee outreach and selection activities, ensuring transparency, clear participation criteria, and effective communication.
- Youth Engagement: Maintain proactive communication with selected and non-selected youth and oversee allocation of youth small packs.
- Training Needs Identification: Work with officers and stakeholders to identify training needs and contribute to training plans.
- Training Implementation & Feedback: Track training progress using tools such as ODK and WhatsApp groups, collect feedback, and communicate outcomes to youth.
- Business Plan Development: Support youth to develop simple business plans and partnership agreements and supervise implementation.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor youth agribusiness performance, address challenges, document success stories, and ensure proper distribution of small packs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience in youth engagement and field-based work is highly desirable.
- Strong mobilization, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in rural and field environments.
Familiarity with digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK) is an added advantage.
