Role Purpose:
The Data Systems & Analysis Officer will lead the day-to-day management of FIPS Africa’s digital monitoring database and dashboards. The role ensures high-quality data architecture, consistent system use, and timely analysis to support learning, evidence-based decision-making, and adaptive management. The role will also serve as the primary internal liaison with a consultant firm developing FIPS’ digital monitoring system.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain FIPS’ digital monitoring database and dashboards.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistent system use across teams.
Produce timely analysis and insights to support MEL and program learning.
Coordinate closely with an external consultant firm to ensure system design meets program and MEL needs..
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.
Experience managing digital data systems, dashboards, or MIS platforms.
Strong data analysis and data quality management skills.
Experience working with MEL systems or program monitoring data is an added advantage.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
