    Role Summary
    We’re hiring a Nairobi-based Sales Account Manager to grow revenue in Kenya. You will own and expand existing relationships with agencies and brands, open new agency doors, and convert briefs into booked campaigns. You’ll translate technical capabilities into simple, compelling outcomes and keep a tight, disciplined sales process.

    What you’ll do

    • Drive new and grow existing account revenues in Kenya, with clear quarterly targets.
    • Map and penetrate priority Nairobi agencies, build multi-level relationships, and expand to additional holding company partners.
    • Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, meetings, needs analysis, solutioning, proposals, negotiation, close, and handover.
    • Educate agencies and brands on Blue Robot solutions, packaging them against client objectives and performance KPIs.
    • Prepare and present proposals and insertion orders with solid commercial logic.
    • Liaise with internal Account Management and Brand Strategy to ensure campaigns launch on time and hit objectives.
    • Report on pipeline, forecast accuracy, and campaign performance.
    • Maintain immaculate CRM hygiene and sales documentation.
    • Monitor competitive activity in Kenya and recommend tactics to win.
    • Travel to client offices and industry events within Kenya as needed.

    A typical week

    • Agency meetings and capability sessions
    • Brief discovery, proposal build, pricing, and follow-ups
    • Internal syncs to shape solutions and unblock delivery
    • Pipeline reviews, forecast updates, and post-campaign reporting

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years in digital media or martech sales with a proven new-business track record.
    • Strong knowledge of the Kenyan advertising agency landscape and how decisions actually get made.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills, spoken and written.
    • Numerate and commercially sharp - you can structure pricing, justify value, and defend a proposal.
    • Passion for advertising, creativity, and measurable performance.
    • Belief in our vision of turning scrolls into actions, and the grit to prove it with results.
    • Mastery of CRM discipline and sales hygiene.
    • Fluent in English - Kiswahili an advantage.
    • Existing right to work in Kenya.

    Nice to have

    • Experience selling social ad tech, creative automation, or performance-led brand activations.
    • Existing relationships across tier-1 Nairobi agencies and major brands.
    • Familiarity with brand lift, incremental reach, and performance measurement frameworks.

    Performance KPIs

    • Meetings per week with priority agencies.
    • Briefs sourced per month and proposal-to-booking conversion rate.
