Finance/Accountant Intern

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant Intern with a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles. The ideal candidate should have completed a business-related degree with a finance major, must have passed at least CPA Section 2, and be proficient in QuickBooks Online. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial management and accounting processes within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Help prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage transactions using QuickBooks Online, including invoicing, payments, and expense entries.
• Assist with the preparation of tax documents and support compliance-related activities.
• Reconcile bank and other financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team on special financial projects and audits.
• Ensure the proper filing and management of financial documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must have graduated with a business-related degree with a major in finance or accounting.
• Completed at least CPA Section 2.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other accounting software is a plus.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
